N800 keeps getting better

The improvements keep on coming. The above video shows the Nokia N800 with firmware 2007SE_2.2006.51-6 trying a YouTube video on top and the same N800 trying the same video with firmware 2007SE_3.2007.10-7. It's not readily apparent in the video, but the frame rate is improved to a "watchable" quality in the latest firmware. The improvements listed are:
  • Video and Flash performance and quality
  • Bluetooth connection
  • Browser stability
  • Activating touch screen and keys lock
But wait! There's more! Here are some fantastic apps that are either new or just recently re-ported:
  • Rdesktop
  • Camera application
  • Webmail Notifier (mnotify)
  • omweather
These are available in the extras repositories. It's a good time to be a Nokia Internet Tablet owner.

I'm really, really upset! I have a N800 since two months ago and yesterday it entered in a reboot loop. When booting the progress bar appears, then the Nokia logo, and then it boots again. This process repeats infinitely... Of course, I cannot update to the new software version because the machine never gets up!!! Any suggestion???

I had the same problem (it seems that it appears when I forget to charge the battery).
Flashing the first firmware is the solution for me, then you can flash the last firmware. Of course, you lose all your data.

How do I pair the Nokia N800 with the Verizon Motorola Q? You mentioned in your blog that you were able to do it. I have the tethering option.

I can't seem to find mnotify in my application list. It was there yesterday, but today it's gone! What happened to it?

Help me anyone ...
Please help me ...

I experienced a problem, exactly as devastating as Jose M. Balaguer.

I forgot what I downloaded frm Maemo website. Then in Control Panel, there was a program, something like Maemo Setting for startUp. I chose to on Mini Reboot, then this all happened!

My N800 goes to constant rebooting. Just as Mr. Balaguer described.

Wht should I do to undo?
How to ControlBreak a reboot?
Any reset button on N800?

Please.. Please help me?
Many thanks!
