I have to hand it to Kevin Tofel of JKOnTheRun this time. He scooped me on N800 news! This is what I earn for picking today to slack off.
He saw an N800 with Skype! I checked the tablet-dev site and currently the latest firmware is still RX-34_2007SE_3.2007.10-7_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin so this isn't available yet - but I am guessing it will be any minute now.

It appears skype will be released somewhere around july. As a 3rd party app.
I hope this won't have as a side effect the delaying of the promised firmware update, but on ITT there are lot of rumors it will be postponed because of the internal reorganization during these days in Nokia.
I keep going with my finger crossed :)
I hope they will make a version for my good old 770.
I hope they make one for my old sony phone. I use Skype at home and interoute for my voip client for business. They are both great pieces of kit
