That reminds me:
Don't turn your N800 off! Why would you want to? Unless you're going to be away from a charger for a whole day or so at a time, there's no good reason to turn it off between uses. Nokia designed the power saving features like they did with their phones - Super low power, instant-on "standby time" and a number of hours of active use time.

Actually, I would want to switch my N800 off or at least "more off", since I rarely use it each and every day.
The good old palmpilot ran for several weeks on one battery charge and it had a real "instant off & on" switch.
The N800 just keeps running and idly eating up its battery.

I sometimes turn it off when I'm taking it with me but know I won't be using it for several hours; for example, if I'm going to class straight from work. I won't be using it at work, so I go ahead and turn it off.
