First ThoughtFix parody sited!

You're not "someone" on the internet until someone decides to parody you. Remember my Coffee with ThoughtFix - Instant On video? AntiRelusionist decided to post a little parody of it. I embedded it above.

I found it hilarious. He's right - I do have shaky hands. I also am WAY biased toward the N800 but that bias comes from one positive experience after another - and that doesn't mean I'm not above putting down $1,500 to line up a new UMPC. I was a bit wary of choosing a UMPC with the Intel A110 chipset, but Moblin (another Hildon powered Linux - the only one other than on the 770/N800) is based on that platform. If I can get a port toolchain together, we may have all our Maemo apps on larger, faster Intel powered devices. It's on my to-do list.

I'd drink your coffee over his any day dude. :) What the heck was he putting in that mix anyways? ketchup and lemon juice?! that's just nasty.

Your videos are always awesome, and I can't wait to see the next ones. By the way, good luck with your adventures in porting some Maemo apps to Moblin for the UMPC side.

Hello ThoughtFix:

I tried to some research on the Moblin unit.

Can you give us more detail as to:

1) storage capacity
2) ram memory
3) webcam, usb input, vga connection.
4) etc.

At a price tag of about $1,500, would it sell well?
Consider some other UMPC's are priced lower.

Regards Robert

Congratulions, you're someone now :)

And you deserve it, cause your videos were very helpful when I was thinking about an N800. I have one now.
