N800 successor and WIMAX

I've mentioned it back in March, but LinuxDevices got down with Dr. Jaaksi and talked more.

I have friends at Sprint and Nokia, so hope I get in on this when it's available. I know I'll buy one but this time it will depend on the cost and level of service.

How can New York not be on that list?!

Well, I'm with you. I'll buy, and the purchase will depend on the service being here, which I hope it will.

I think it will be interesting to see how WiMax plays in both the mobile and fixed wireless space. I wonder if devices like the N800 could be key drivers of WiMax adoption.

Is it possible that the FM radio in the N800 could be used for WiMax? Or rather, is it possibole that a WiMax antenna was placed into the N800 and disguised as an FM radio?

That would explain why an FM radio was there when no one requested it and perhaps it is the "Easter egg" Texrat mentioned once. Also, Ari, said that the N800 would have WiMax, not the N800's successor.
