*UPDATE* - you may wish to defer some feature request posts as the maemo bug reporting system is due for some reorganization in the near future. Continue discussing them on InternetTabletTalk and other resources, but wait for an announcement before submitting feature requests to bugzilla again.
In my conversations with maemo developers, their repeated frustration is that people rant about feature requests without filing feature requests in the bugzilla. I just found myself guilty of the same - whining about a missing feature without so much as searching for a bugzilla entry.
Previously, I wrote a bugzilla introduction and howto. This applies not only to bugs but to feature requests as well. I decided to check to see if there was a feature request for a Flash plugin by a simple search. I noticed that there was no entry for camera support in Flash but did notice a popular feature request for N800 to PC Calls. I voted on that one. I've changed a bug to a feature request in the past by writing a proposal on what to do and why it is a good idea. Nokia (Quim Gil, specifically) responded by adding it to the Wishlist section of the Product Roadmap.
Now I want to add a new feature request into a new "bug" entry. The first step would be to choose a product. I chose N800. If I get this wrong, I am sure the developers will fix it.
Once I was done filling the whole thing out, a new bug was created. It helps when you talk to other tablet owners (say, on InternetTabletTalk) and tell them to vote on it as well.
Then it's a waiting game. Maybe Nokia will pick up the request and maybe the won't. It never hurts to ask and it helps the developers know which are the most wanted of features.
Reminders: Bugzilla is not for technical support, complaints, arguments, or support on 3rd party software. Adding that to the bugzilla just slows down development on actual maemo bugs and feature requests.

Yesterday I wrote you a long comment but because I'm getting a forced interface in Finnish (deduced by Blogger since I'm based in Finland) I must have presed the wrong buttons.
Basically, thanks for this second post about bug reporting. It made me go and pimp https://maemo.org/community/bugs_and_features.html including the links to your posts.
I also suggested you to check http://maemo.org/news/ and http://maemo.org/news/best - and encourage your readers to fave your posts, so they go higher in the maemo News section (and soon in the maemo.org home) and stay more time there. Still beta but works - visible to anonymous users soon (now you have to be logged in at https:// to enjoy these pages and add your faves )

Hi thoughtfix. I need your help very badly. I also got this device on my hand now. Its new.
I dont know how to add a new software like all you guys are doing. I feel shame on myself.
I inserted 125 Mb card on the removable card slow below left side and the internal card slot is empty.
I downloaded the nokia software update wizard and installed it.
I connected to the device and the software tells me that the DEVICE NOT FOUND and it asked me to hold the HOME key and switch on the Power button till the usb logo appears on top right of the screen. I did exactly what they said but the software didnt react , still shows device not found in my pc. While Nokia shows the usb logo top right and NOKIA logo on screen.
Nothing happened. When i removed the usb then device boots normally.
Ok. Then i tried to install Skype though it has inbuilt google talk.
It shows so many application package files missing and thus cant install.
Ok. Then i went to all forums becas i am new to linux environment. They all told me to add the repositiory using Application manager. But now the problem is there is no provision to add new repositiory links in the appmanager.
Please Please tell me what to do. I know all you guys are having some provision to add repository which is going to fetch the new softwares and the files. But for me there is no such option.
Please help me ...... I feel very sad.
