Also, I tagged a bunch of photos on Flickr that show the N810 itself, so you don't have to worry about the socializing and sightseeing photos from San Francisco.
To date, Reggie has the best photos on InternetTabletTalk.com. Jonathan posted a video of an internet call shot from his N95. Watch both destinations closely as they, too, have N810 internet tablets.
Everyone asks about hardware easter eggs. The 770 has a microphone and the N800 has an FM tuner. Does the N810 have any secret hardware? LinuxDevices seems to have a tidbit not reported elsewhere - an FM Transmitter. I checked with them and they sourced a product manager in a phone interview. InternetTabletTalk users, of course, already discussed this. I keep thinking of my discussion with the Nokia designers and how the switch from SD to MiniSD was an "internal space" issue, so am hesitant to think there will be any extra hardware in there. Time will tell.
On a final note: Deliverator was present for my live video webcast on ustream.tv and posted his notes on the experience. Thank you, Deliverator! Next live web feed: Tuesday, October 23 at 5 PM Arizona (Pacific) time.

Very nice. I am tempted more and more. Perhaps you could show some of the GPS functionality if you can.
A couple of questions for you though? How well does it stream RealPlayer radio? I would hate to be without BBC Radio 3, 4 or 6 while in a cafe.
Second, how well does it perform as a PDA? Is there a mechanicam to transfer and sync addressbook and calendar info onto the Mac?
Very nice!
I sm very tempted as well, and as per the poster above i am interested in the GPS function. Thier has been some confusion on ITT about what works on the GPS by default, and what is a premium service.
Thanks for the update, and i'm anxiously waiting more video's till the relsease date before i decide.
Thanks.
Dustin
Very nice review!!! Impressive. I am excited to grab one of these when they come out. I have a question for you... Just like you did with the 800, do you have pictures of the internals of the 810? Or if you don't have a pic of the intenals, can you tell me if they went ahead and used the same contenxt chipset for the wifi card?
Thanks, and keep up the excellent work that you do. Always keeping everyone in the internet tablet world thoroughly informed. Thanks again.
Michael
I would like to humbly request a comparison pic of the N810 against the iPod Touch, as they're both fighting for that "second pocket" that you've mentioned in the past.
Very nice review. I especially like how you highlighted the light sensor. I had that on my old nokia phone and it's nice to see it returned to the tablets.
i get the impression that the microb browser behaves so much better on the os08 then it did before. as in, the load bar actually seems to stop when its done, not 5+ seconds before its done, and one is more likely to be able to scroll while its doing something.
am i right or did i just imagine things?
of all the videos to show youtube performance, you pic a video with 95% slow motion scenes.....
I agree with the last comment. I couldn't really tell if Youtube was really improved because the video seemed to have inherent slow motion sequences. Consequently, please pick a video that runs in real speed so that we can determine how much YouTube has improved now. Or, go to CNN and pick a video from their site. Thanks for the video though!
With the new keyboard of this new n810, how do you input foreign characters?
Congrats on the live show and that N810 looks sweet. I'm in California at the moment, but we should hook up on stuff when I get back to AZ.
Thanks for the blog info. Now understand that video is interesting to me but what I really find desirable is the GPS capability. The problem is I have this fear that Nokia screwed up here and did not provide for enough secondary storage to make GPS viable.
So as others have hinted to tell us more about the GPS capability. Info on the maps, their resolution and storage space requirements are important. For example if one where to install maps covering 100% of the USA and Canada how much secondary storage space would be left over on the N810.
Frankly I'm a bit shocked that Nokia seems to have forgotten about the secondary storage needs of the user of this device.

There's no FM transmitter built into the N810. If there were, the FCC would have _insisted_ it be tested for proper functionality (regulating transmitters is what they *do*).
Do you know if the N810 supports TCP/IP over USB? My Sharp Zaurus supported this. I don't have wireless where I work and am told "don't hold your breath" about getting it. If I could share my Internet connection over the USB cable I'd be good to go.
AJ,
About the transmitter. For all we know the FCC did approve this. Do you have information to the contrary? My shock about it is the fact FM transmitters are illegal across much of Europe. The UK has legalized them, but the rest of the continent hasn't followed. I suppose it could be disabled in software, but it could just as easily be re-enabled.
