Here in the US, it's Thanksgiving Day. Globally, you're all still at work. Here are some brief updates:
- To clarify my last post: I'll only temporarily be without an N810. Coverage will resume once I get one back in my hands.
- Still no OS2008 on the N800 officially. I'm checking twice per day. No - I won't cover OS2008 on N800 articles until the OS is official on that tablet. Who knows what will change?
- No fewer than twenty people have contacted me directly asking for an Nokia N810 vs. Asus Eee showdown. I'm working on it! Yes - the two devices are competing but only among users who do not know exactly what they want. I'll clarify that. All the Eee stuff will remain on ultramobilegeek.com
- Would users be more interested in live shows, a regular podcast, or just the normal content I currently provide? The live shows go over well but sometimes I run out of topics. A regular podcast can get boring though, so if I do that then I will open up a Skype number for reader voicemail/calls.
- The latest UKMP is available for OS2007 and OS2008.
- Jonathan Greene's article on Jablet is a must-read.
- Canola 2.0 is looking fantastic. Can't wait. Watch Marcelo's blog and video!
That's all for now. Expect more tomorrow and this weekend.

I'd like to see a weekly or bi-weekly podcast, Dan. Perhaps even interviews with some of the people behind the applications being developed, the people that work on it on the Nokia side... I think that could be very interesting.
Podcasts are boring. My opinion - regular live shows with topic announcement few days before and collecting questions via e-mail/comments (to be prepared to answer)
Hey Thoughtfix :)
What's up with the checking twice daily?
Nokia are saying it won't be released until December.
