N810 deals get hotter: $389 at MobileCityOnline

When I got to play with a Nokia N95 at the Web2Summit, I realized I MUST have one and purchased an N95-3 from MobileCityOnline when I got home. This put me on their newsletter and I am glad for it today: They're offering a smoking deal on the N810. Use coupon code NOK222 in the next 4 days for free FedEx ground shipping.

As a MobileCityOnline buyer, I'm pretty happy with the experience. As of this writing, the N810 is leading the pack in user votes in the Engadget "Handheld of the Year" category, but it was pitted against some strange competition.

Sign of the Wimax model being anticipated, or just normal price curve for any product? Or both? :)

It's looking good for the N810!

As of 7pm, March 1st, the N810 has taken about 32% of the vote in the Handheld of the Year 2007 Category, with the Kindle coming in second with 27%.

Voting should be over, so we'll be seeing Editor's Choices and the People's Votes during the coming week!

It is a great deal, but jeez, MobileCityOnline are making me work for it. Ordered on 2/29 (Sat.) - the transaction burped after I did the PayPay authorization - money sent, but no order #. Called Mon. AM, had to fax over my PP receipt, then it went to the Billing Dept. to make sure I had really paid. Now it's hung up, I suspect, because the coupon code is no longer valid. Sigh. Folks - be aware - you probably don't want to combine PP and MobCityOnl - 2 folks at MOC have said, "yeah, this happens sometimes."
Regardless of the whining - thanks for the tip and (esp) the blog.

Just to follow up (want to give credit where it's due) - MOC shipped my n810 - can't wait to get my hands on it.
