About the transmitter. For all we know the FCC did approve this. Do you have information to the contrary? My shock about it is the fact FM transmitters are illegal across much of Europe. The UK has legalized them, but the rest of the continent hasn't followed. I suppose it could be disabled in software, but it could just as easily be re-enabled.

Do you know if the N810 supports TCP/IP over USB? ...

Do you know if the N810 supports TCP/IP over USB? My Sharp Zaurus supported this. I don't have wireless where I work and am told "don't hold your breath" about getting it. If I could share my Internet connection over the USB cable I'd be good to go.

There's no FM transmitter built into the N810. If there were, the FCC would have _insisted_ it be tested for proper functionality (regulating transmitters is what they *do*).

Thanks for the blog info. Now understand that video is interesting to me but what I really find desirable is the GPS capability. The problem is I have this fear that Nokia screwed up here and did not provide for enough secondary storage to make GPS viable.

So as others have hinted to tell us more about the GPS capability. Info on the maps, their resolution and storage space

I agree with the last comment. I couldn't really tell if Youtube was really improved because the video seemed to have inherent slow motion sequences. Consequently, please pick a video that runs in real speed so that we can determine how much YouTube has improved now. Or, go to CNN and pick a video from their site. Thanks for the video though!

i get the impression that the microb browser behaves so much better on the os08 then it did before. as in, the load bar actually seems to stop when its done, not 5+ seconds before its done, and one is more likely to be able to scroll while its doing something.

Or if you don't have a pic of the intenals, can you tell me if they went ahead and used the same contenxt chipset for the wifi card?

I sm very tempted as well, and as per the poster above i am interested in the GPS function. Thier has been some confusion on ITT about what works on the GPS by default, and what is a premium service.

A couple of questions for you though? How well does it stream RealPlayer radio? I would hate to be without BBC Radio 3, 4 or 6 while in a cafe.

Second, how well does it perform as a PDA? Is there a mechanicam to transfer and sync addressbook and calendar info onto the Mac?
